With a little paint, and ideas for a hat and face, you can learn some new skills and enjoy creating a gourd snowmen for yourself, family members and your special friends. One of the best paint teachers on the web is Deborah Adele. She will take you through her process step-by-step and offer you many tips to help you along the way. Next she tackles a larger gourd  snowman and creates a snowman with a vest and a big top hat. She also shows you how to add shading and humor to your painting process. All it takes is patience.

A fat and short snowman out of a bottle gourd. She calls this a Snazzy, Fancy Pants Snowman.

Here are other examples from the web to inspire you.

I know you are now ready to try some of her ideas. I created a handout of her supply list and have it available in the store. Just print it out and see what you might need to buy. Have fun!

You mentioned in one of your videos that you had ready-made hats for your snowman. I’m very interested in finding out where you got the hats. I have tried to make them but I’m finding it impossibly hard.
